H.R. No. 1300

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dell Children's Medical Center is hosting a grand
	opening celebration for its new North Campus in Austin on April 12,
	2023; and
	WHEREAS, Part of Ascension Texas, the new campus will
	collaborate with The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical
	School and UT Health Austin to provide a wide range of pediatric
	services, including neurology, surgery, and pulmonology, among
	many others; and
	WHEREAS, Opening to the public on April 27, this four-story
	medical center spans more than 187,000 square feet and features 36
	inpatient beds as well as operating rooms, endoscopy and procedure
	rooms, and an emergency department offering Level III trauma care;
	the hospital operations will be supported by an on-site blood bank,
	laboratory, and pediatric-friendly imaging rooms, and patients and
	their families will also have access to a Ronald McDonald suite
	complete with a lounge, kitchen, and bedrooms; and
	WHEREAS, Over the years, Dell Children's Medical Center has
	earned a reputation as a leading health care provider in Central
	Texas, and the new North Campus is certain to be an invaluable
	resource to the community; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
	Legislature hereby commemorate the grand opening of Dell Children's
	Medical Center North Campus and extend to all those associated with
	the hospital sincere best wishes for continued success with their
	important work; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the hospital as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
