R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Aiden Savetman of Allen High School distinguished |
|
|
himself with his performance in the 2021-2022 Kids Teaching Kids |
|
|
recipe book design competition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against students from 15 school districts |
|
|
in North Texas, Mr. Savetman finished as the first runner-up, and |
|
|
his exceptional design secured a $250 prize to benefit his school's |
|
|
graphic design classroom; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sponsored by Medical City Children's Hospital, the |
|
|
recipe book is released in conjunction with the Kids Teaching Kids |
|
|
21-Day Challenge, with the goal of encouraging good nutrition among |
|
|
elementary school students; the book features recipes for healthy |
|
|
snacks created by high school culinary arts students and registered |
|
|
dietitians; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With his fine showing in the recipe book design |
|
|
competition, Aiden Savetman has brought credit to his school, and |
|
|
he may take justifiable pride in the skill and dedication he has |
|
|
demonstrated; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Aiden Savetman on placing second in |
|
|
the 2021-2022 Kids Teaching Kids recipe book design competition and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Savetman as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
