House Joint Resolution 1430, sponsored by Clemmons, honors Sam Stratton Bone, Jr. for his significant contributions to Wilson County and the agricultural community in Tennessee. His leadership has led to the establishment of the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program, which has funded over 92,500 projects across the state, and he is credited with founding Ag Day on The Hill to promote the importance of agriculture.

In recognition of his legacy, a building at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon will be named the "Stratton Bone Made in Tennessee Building," with a dedication ceremony scheduled for April 30, 2026.
