Senate Resolution 421, sponsored by Walley, honors the students of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Crump for their impressive achievements at the 2026 SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference held in Chattanooga. A total of twenty-nine TCAT Crump students participated in nineteen contests, showcasing their skills across various technical and career-focused disciplines. Their hard work resulted in a remarkable haul of fourteen medals, including gold, silver, and bronze awards, with several students qualifying to represent Tennessee at the national conference in Atlanta, Georgia, in June 2026.

The resolution emphasizes the importance of career and technical education in equipping students for future success and recognizes the dedication of the students and the mentorship provided by Betsy Hill, the Career Coach and Lead SkillsUSA Advisor.
