Dr. McPhee has also contributed to raising admission standards, increasing enrollment of high-ability students, and expanding academic programs, while strengthening international partnerships and initiatives.

The resolution acknowledges Dr. McPhee's academic achievements, including his degrees from Prairie View A&M University, the University of Miami, and Oklahoma State University, as well as his extensive scholarly contributions and leadership roles, such as his election to the NCAA Division I Board of Directors. It expresses gratitude for his dedication to MTSU and extends best wishes for his future endeavors as he transitions to a tenured professor role in the College of Education following a sabbatical.
