She received her education in Knox County Schools and graduated from Knoxville College in 1947, where she was recognized as Miss Knoxville College. Following her graduation, she dedicated over three decades to teaching in the Knox County Schools, contributing significantly to the education and development of young people in her community.

In addition to her teaching career, Mrs. LeFlore was actively involved in her church, First Calvary Baptist Church, where she served in various capacities. She was married to her college sweetheart, Robert "Bob" LeFlore, for fifty-eight years until his passing and is a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The resolution expresses gratitude for her contributions to her family, church, and community, recognizing her as an inspiration to those around her. The General Assembly extends its best wishes to Mrs. LeFlore for continued success and happiness as she reaches this significant milestone.
