Additionally, the bill stipulates that if Victims of Communism Day falls on a day when students do not receive instruction for their world history and geography course, the required instruction must be provided on the next instructional day. The act is set to take effect upon becoming law and will apply to the 2026-2027 school year and subsequent years.
