Senate Joint Resolution 544 recognizes and commends Beverly Bell, the founder and director of Optimum Hope!, a nonprofit wellness recovery program for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. Beverly, a physical therapy assistant with over thirty years of experience, identified a significant gap in therapy options for Parkinson's patients in Wilson County and established Optimum Hope! in 2016. Starting with just five members, she has dedicated her time and expertise to grow the organization, which now serves over sixty-five participants, offering multiple classes each week and employing professional staff to enhance the program's offerings.

The resolution highlights Beverly's extensive qualifications, including specialized certifications in various therapeutic techniques, and her active involvement in the Parkinson's community through support groups and awareness events. Her commitment to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson's disease has inspired many Tennesseans to overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements. The General Assembly expresses its appreciation for her dedication and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
