House Joint Resolution 678 honors Jason Reuter, the Head Coach of the Bradley Central High School girls' basketball team, for being named the 2024-2025 MaxPreps National Coach of the Year. This prestigious recognition comes as a result of his exceptional leadership, guiding the Bearettes to their third consecutive TSSAA Division I, Class 4A state championship and their fourth overall under his tenure. Coach Reuter boasts an impressive coaching record of 456 wins to 45 losses over fifteen seasons, achieving a remarkable 91 percent winning percentage. His team finished the 2024-2025 season with a near-perfect record of 35-1 and was ranked fourth nationally in the MaxPreps Top 25.
The resolution also highlights the contributions of Coach Reuter's players and assistant coaches, acknowledging the talent and dedication that led to their success. Notably, six of the eight seniors on the team are set to play college basketball, and standout junior Kimora Fields received individual accolades as the MaxPreps Tennessee Player of the Year.
