House Joint Resolution 629, sponsored by Hemmer, recognizes and commends The Harding Art Show in Nashville as it celebrates its fiftieth anniversary on May 13, 2025. Since its inception in 1975, the event has grown to become one of the largest and most profitable fine art exhibitions in the southeastern United States, showcasing over seventy-five artists from across the country. The show serves as Harding Academy's primary fundraising event, attracting more than 5,000 visitors over three days and featuring various activities, including a designated Family Day.

The resolution highlights the mission of The Harding Art Show to foster community engagement, promote arts education, and present curated art selections. It also notes that the anniversary show will feature artist Laura McCarty, whose work reflects the spirit of the Harding community.
