Senate Joint Resolution 203, sponsored by Senator Oliver, honors Dr. Tracey Morant Adams, the South Eastern Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in recognition of AKA Day at the Capitol on March 26, 2025. This event will bring together members from across Tennessee to engage in work sessions addressing critical issues such as maternal health, Black youth mental health, and suicide prevention, which are part of the sorority's 2025 Legislative Agenda. Dr. Morant Adams, a dedicated member since 1985, has held various leadership roles within the sorority and has been instrumental in reactivating over 30,000 members.

In addition to her contributions to Alpha Kappa Alpha, Dr. Morant Adams serves as the Chief Community Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer for Renasant Bank, where she leads initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her extensive civic involvement includes serving on multiple boards and commissions, reflecting her commitment to community service. The resolution expresses gratitude for her leadership and the service of the sorority members, extending best wishes for their continued success as they participate in AKA Day at the Capitol.
