House Joint Resolution 223, sponsored by Keisling, honors Paulina Herrmann Bennett for her recent induction into the Clay County Sports Hall of Fame. Recognized as a legendary athlete, Mrs. Bennett is celebrated for her outstanding contributions to the Clay County High School girls' basketball program, where she played from 2002 to 2005. During her high school career, she scored 1,222 points and recorded 453 rebounds, leading her teams to a remarkable four-year record of 101-31, which included three district championships, two region championships, and participation in two state tournaments.

The resolution acknowledges Mrs. Bennett's individual accolades, including multiple all-conference awards and recognition as a district tournament MVP. It emphasizes her leadership, skill, and athleticism throughout her career, making her induction into the Hall of Fame a fitting tribute.
