HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 1482

A RESOLUTION to commend Delaney Moore for exemplary service as a legislative intern.
WHEREAS, each legislative session, this General Assembly is pleased to recognize certain persons who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative process; and WHEREAS, Delaney Moore is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her role as a legislative intern for Representative Chris Todd; Ms. Moore's research and work with Chairman Todd and the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee have resulted in
innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and WHEREAS, born in Ohio, Delaney Moore is a junior at the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville, where she is highly regarded by her peers and on course to complete a political science degree; she plans to pursue a career in government or as an attorney, and she will spend her summer interning at a law firm in London, England; and WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Delaney Moore brought her many abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2024 session of the One Hundred Thirteenth General Assembly; and WHEREAS, throughout the 2024 legislative session, Ms. Moore has surpassed all criteria that define a devoted and conscientious legislative intern; and WHEREAS, Delaney Moore has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and profound decorum; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
THIRTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE

CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Delaney Moore for outstanding service as a legislative intern for Representative Chris Todd and extend to her our best wishes for every future success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
