HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 1475

A RESOLUTION to honor and commend TPC Printing &
Packaging on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should recognize those exemplary businesses that, through their unwavering commitment to excellence, are a credit to this State; and WHEREAS, one such estimable entity is TPC Printing & Packaging of Chattanooga,
which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary on April 19, 2024; and WHEREAS, established by J. A. Schmissrauter on April 19, 1924, as Textile Printing Company, TPC Printing & Packaging has operated for one century under the ownership of the Schmissrauter family; and WHEREAS, TPC Printing & Packaging has played an integral role in the lives of the good people of the Chattanooga community for 100 years, and it is most appropriate that this historic business be recognized; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
THIRTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
CONCURRING, that we hereby honor and commend the owners and staff, both past and present, of TPC Printing & Packaging on the occasion of its 100th anniversary and extend to
them our best wishes for every future success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
