A RESOLUTION to honor the child care providers of the 38th and
41st House Districts on the occasion of Provider Appreciation Day.
WHEREAS, across the nation, May 10, 2024, is observed as Provider Appreciation Day,
an annual celebration to recognize the child care providers in our communities and the critical role they play for so many working families; and WHEREAS, child care providers are vital to the communities of the 38th and 41st House Districts as they work to keep our children safe, nurture their curiosity, and prepare them for a lifetime of learning and growth; and WHEREAS, in Tennessee, child care has been and continues to be a lifeline for families,
communities, and the economy; and WHEREAS, the future depends on the quality of early childhood experiences provided to
young children today; support for high-quality child care represents a worthy commitment to our children's future; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
THIRTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
CONCURRING, that we honor and commend the child care providers of the 38th and 41st House Districts on Provider Appreciation Day for the necessary and vital services they provide to the residents of the State of Tennessee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
