SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 1465

A RESOLUTION to honor Travis Parton for his twenty-five years of service to Tusculum University.
WHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly are pleased to recognize a gentleman who excels at his vocation while spreading joy among his employers and their customers; and WHEREAS, Travis Parton was recently honored for twenty-five years of exceptional service as a food service provider at Tusculum University; and WHEREAS, Tusculum University faculty and staff members honored Mr. Parton with a ceremony that highlighted everyone's affection for him, his excellent work, and his playful side,
which brightens everyone's day; and WHEREAS, included in the event was a proclamation from Dr. Scott Hummel, president of Tusculum University, declaring March 19 as "Travis Parton Day" at the university, drawing cheers and applause from all who attended the ceremony; and WHEREAS, a beloved member of the Tusculum family, Mr. Parton is a gentle soul, who possesses an incredible work ethic and takes pride in completing his assigned tasks at the Tusculum cafeteria; and WHEREAS, Travis Parton has distinguished himself as a model employee who goes far beyond his duties in bringing joy to the Tusculum University campus; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRTEENTH
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we join with the administration, faculty, and staff of
Tusculum University and Chartwells management in honoring and congratulating Travis Parton SJR1465

upon his twenty-fifth anniversary as an excellent employee and extend to him our best wishes for much continued success and happiness in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
