Senate Bill 2985, also known as House Bill 3002, amends Chapter 130 of the Private Acts of 2006 concerning the Bolivar Energy Authority. The bill modifies the composition and appointment process of the board of directors for the Authority. Specifically, it deletes the existing language in subsection (a) of Section 7 and replaces it with new provisions that stipulate the initial board will consist of the current members of the Bolivar Electric Utility Board, who will serve until the end of their current terms.
