Senate Joint Resolution 1101 recognizes and commends VIAM Manufacturing, Inc. for its twenty-fifth anniversary in Tennessee. Founded in 1983 in California, VIAM established its Tennessee operations in Manchester in 1998 and has since grown to become a leading global supplier of automotive OEM floor mats. The company has expanded significantly, employing around 540 workers and operating nearly 1 million square feet of production space. Over the years, VIAM has contributed substantially to the local economy, paying $10.5 million in state taxes and $6 million in local taxes, while injecting approximately $18 million in annual payroll into the Manchester community.

In addition to its economic contributions, VIAM Manufacturing has demonstrated a strong commitment to philanthropy and community engagement. The company has donated $650,000 to local first responders and raised over $500,000 for the Coffee County Jr. Golf Association. VIAM has also provided Christmas gifts and school supplies to underprivileged children, contributed over $30,000 to the Coffee County Humane Association, and actively participates in community service initiatives like the Adopt-a-Highway program. The resolution expresses the General Assembly's congratulations to VIAM's employees and owners for their achievements and wishes them continued success in the future.
