By Taylor AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 40,
Chapter 33 and Title 55, Chapter 10, Part 5,
relative to drag racing.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-10-502(a), is amended by
deleting "Class A misdemeanor" and substituting "Class E felony".
SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 2024, the public welfare requiring it, and applies to acts committed on or after that date.
