By Southerland AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 56,
relative to insurance producers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 56-6-106(a), is amended by adding the following as a new subdivision (3):
(3) If the individual is applying for a title insurance line of authority, has completed a pre-licensing course of study that consists of a minimum of thirty (30) hours of course work for title insurance;
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
