By Yarbro AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49,
relative to school safety.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-806(a), is amended by adding
"local law enforcement officials," after "and shall include, but not be limited to,".
SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-804, is amended by deleting the last sentence in subsection (a) and substituting:
Each district-wide school safety team and each building-level school safety team shall annually review the respective district-wide school safety plan or building-level school safety plan.
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
