By Yarbro AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 36,
Chapter 3, relative to marriage.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 36-3-101, is amended by deleting the language "nor the child of a grandparent" and substituting "nor the lineal descendant of a grandparent".
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
