By Massey AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4,
Chapter 29 and Section 4-3-2711, relative to the Tennessee council on autism spectrum disorder.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-3-2711, is amended by deleting subsection (g) and substituting instead:
(g) The members of the council serve without compensation, but are eligible for reimbursement for travel expenses incurred for attendance at meetings of the council.
Reimbursement for travel expenses must be in accordance with the comprehensive travel regulations as promulgated by the department of finance and administration and approved by the attorney general and reporter.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 2024, the public welfare requiring it.
