                                      HOUSE BILL 2689

                                    AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 37,
                                          relative to the department of children's services.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
       SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 37-5-128, is amended by deleting the language "March 1" and substituting the language "March 31".
       SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
