                                     HOUSE BILL 219
                                        By Whitson AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49,
                                         Chapter 1, Part 2, relative to the department of
                                         education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
      SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-1-211(a), is amended by deleting the language "November 1" and substituting the language "November 15".
      SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
