This legislative commemoration honors the senior class of the Sioux Falls Lincoln High School Patriots Marching Band for their significant achievements. The Class of 2025 has notably advanced the band's historic tradition, marking a milestone as the first group to lead the Patriots to four consecutive years of participation in the Bands of America Super Regional Finals Competition. Their impressive performances include reaching the championship finals with various field shows, such as "Queen's Gambit" in 2021, "Houdini Un-Chained" in 2022, "Fabric of Time" in 2023, and "The Big Apple" in 2024.

Additionally, the Patriots have been selected to perform in the prestigious ninety-eighth annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on November 28, 2024.
