The Department of Public Safety is required to electronically transmit the consenting applicants' personal information, such as name, address, date of birth, telephone number, and email address, to the national marrow donor program on a monthly basis. The transmitted information is restricted to use solely for enrollment purposes and cannot be further disseminated without the individual's consent.
