Additionally, the bill stipulates that in fulfilling these requirements, the Board must consult with the South Dakota Indian Education Advisory Council. This consultation aims to ensure that the curriculum is developed with input from those knowledgeable about the needs and perspectives of the Native American community, thereby fostering a more inclusive and comprehensive educational experience for students in South Dakota.
