This bill mandates that high school health curricula in South Dakota for students in grades nine through twelve must include comprehensive information on human sexuality, pregnancy, and human development within the womb. The curriculum must utilize various teaching methods, such as oral, written, or digital lessons, and must include at least two video presentations that demonstrate the processes of chemical and surgical abortions in the first and second trimesters using high-quality, computer-generated animations.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that no school district employee or contractor may refer students for abortion services, and that the curricular materials must not be provided by individuals or entities that perform elective abortions. The attorney general is granted the authority to petition the circuit court to ensure compliance with these provisions.
