Additionally, the bill amends section 39-5-38 to include cell-cultured meat in the list of items that can be seized and condemned if found in violation of state law. It also establishes a new section in chapter 39-5 that prohibits the manufacturing of cell-cultured meat for sale, with similar penalties and enforcement measures as outlined in the previous section. The provisions of this Act are set to expire on June 30, 2035, at which point the law will revert to its previous state.
