This bill appropriates $1,500,000 from the tourism promotion fund to the Department of Education for the construction, renovation, and modernization of historical exhibits at the Cultural Heritage Center. The funds are intended to cover increased costs associated with these projects, as authorized in previous legislation from the 2022 Session Laws. The state treasurer is responsible for transferring the allocated amount to the other activities fund within the Department of Education.

Additionally, the bill outlines that the secretary of the Department of Education will approve vouchers for expenditures, while the state auditor will draw warrants to facilitate payment. Any unspent or unallocated funds from this appropriation will revert according to established procedures. The provisions of this Act will take effect on June 30, 2025.
