A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring the 2023-2024 Canton C-Hawk girls wrestling team for its outstanding accomplishments.

WHEREAS, the Canton C-Hawk girls wrestling team finished a very close second in the 2024 South Dakota High School Activities Association state girls wrestling tournament; and

WHEREAS, the C-Hawks compiled an impressive 138.5 points during the state tournament; and

WHEREAS, Finley Evjen (100 lbs.) and Kiara King (250 lbs.) won individual state titles for the C-Hawks:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Ninth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the 2023-2024 Canton C-Hawk girls wrestling team performed in an outstanding manner at the 2024 state girls wrestling tournament.
