A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Celebrating the state championship win by the Mitchell High School gymnastics team.

WHEREAS, on February 9, 2024, the Mitchell High School gymnastics team secured the Class AA state championship title with a record-breaking score of 151.444 points; and

WHEREAS, each individual member and the team as a whole, including Coach Rew, demonstrated unparalleled commitment to endless hours of practice and the pursuit of perfection in their sport; and

WHEREAS, this victory marks Mitchell High School's ninth Class AA state championship since 2007:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Ninth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the state championship win by the Mitchell High School gymnastics team is a momentous achievement, as well as a testament to the talent, dedication, and indomitable spirit of this team, and warrants our sincerest admiration and congratulations.
