An Act to permit fees to be prorated for alcoholic licenses.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That   35-4-41 be AMENDED:
35-4-41.
The

as provided below, the period
covered by licenses under this title is from twelve o'clock midnight
on the thirty-first day of December to twelve o'clock midnight on the
thirty-first day of the next December. However, the license is valid
for an additional three days if a proper application for a new
license is in the possession of the secretary before midnight on the
thirty-first day of December when the license expires. The
full fee
shall

charged
prorated for
any license
for a portion of the period, except as provided in subdivision
35-4-2(1)
if the license is issued during the licensing period.
Notwithstanding the provisions of
this section, the period covered by any license issued pursuant to
subdivision 35-4-2(16)
and any manufacturer license issued under this title
