An Act to permit the playing of an Honor Song at graduation ceremonies.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That chapter 13-1 be amended with a NEW SECTION:

The board of a school district, the South Dakota Board of Technical Education, and the Board of Regents shall, by policy, permit one student participating in the graduation ceremony to arrange for the playing of an Honor Song at the student's graduation ceremony.
