An Act to extend to veterinarians provisions governing drugs, medicines, and various biological products that are prepared for animal use.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That 39-18-34 be REPEALED:
Except as provided in
39-18-34.1,
this chapter does not apply to persons licensed to practice
veterinary medicine in this state in the practice of their
profession.
Section 2. That 39-18-52 be REPEALED:
If any clause, sentence,
paragraph, or part of this chapter shall for any reason be judged
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall
not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder thereof but shall be
confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, or part
thereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment
shall have been rendered.
Section 3. That 39-18-53 be REPEALED:
This chapter shall be
known as the "South Dakota Animal Remedies Law of 1966."
