An Act to make an appropriation for the revised construction costs of the dairy research and extension farm at South Dakota State University, and to declare an emergency.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That section 2 of chapter 240 of the 2021 Session Laws be AMENDED:

There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of $7,500,000 $8,500,000 and the sum of $7,500,000$8,500,000 in other fund expenditure authority, together with any additional sums received pursuant to section 4 of this Act, for the purposes authorized in section 1 of this Act.

Section 2. Whereas, this Act is necessary for the support of the state government and its existing public institutions, an emergency is declared to exist, and this Act is in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
