An Act to provide for custody entitlement of a child born out of wedlock.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That 25-5-10 be AMENDED:
25-5-10.
The
motherEither
parent of an
unmarried minor
child born out
of wedlock is entitled to its
the
child's custody,
services, and earnings subject
to the court's right to.
The court may
award custody of the child to either parent, considering the best
interests
interest
of the child,
as to its
the
child's temporal,
mental, and moral welfare.
