The bill, H. 5083, is a House Resolution recognizing and honoring the Broome High School Varsity and Junior Varsity girls strength teams for their outstanding achievements during the 2025 season. The resolution congratulates the teams for winning both the 2025 South Carolina Class AAA State Championship title and the Overall Female Team State Championship at the South Carolina High School Strength Coaches Association State Meet. The resolution highlights the impressive performance of the teams, which included eight individual state champions, numerous All-State selections, and the setting of several new state records.

The resolution also acknowledges the contributions of Head Coach Dr. Chad Cooksey and Assistant Coach Rebecca Cooper in developing a championship-caliber team and instilling valuable life principles in the athletes.
