The South Carolina Senate has introduced a resolution, S. 662, to recognize the Historic Ballenger House in Seneca as it celebrates its one hundredth anniversary. Built in 1925 by Grady Woodfin and Eleanor Ballenger, the house has a rich history, having remained in the family until 1979 when it was donated to the Seneca Women's Club. The club has since maintained the house, which has undergone renovations over the years, including a complete redecoration in 2004 and the conversion of a bedroom into a conference room in 2019.

The resolution expresses appreciation for the dedication of the Historic Ballenger House and the Seneca Women's Club in serving the community and the state. It concludes with a formal congratulation to the Historic Ballenger House on this significant milestone and includes a provision for a copy of the resolution to be presented to the Seneca Women's Club.
