The South Carolina Senate has introduced a resolution to recognize and honor Molly Paige Eggleston for her courageous act on January 14, 2025, when she saved the life of a fellow South Carolinian, Chantry Little. While on her way to school, Molly encountered Chantry, who was suffering from a severe medical emergency due to a life-threatening cut on his arm. Demonstrating remarkable bravery and quick thinking, she used his belt as a tourniquet to control the bleeding until emergency medical services arrived, likely saving his life.

Molly, a student at Laurens District 55 High School, is the daughter of Karen and Brandon Eggleston, the latter of whom was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2012. The resolution expresses the Senate's appreciation for Molly's dedication to her fellow citizens and concludes with a provision to present her with a copy of the resolution.
