A house RESOLUTION

 

To Honor Mark Ludwig for his substantial contributions to the development of equal shared parenting legislation across the nation.

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig is the founder of Americans for Equal Shared Parenting, the National Legislative Trainer for The Fathers' Rights Movement, and is the policy director for Family Reunion USA; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig is the author of "Make a Difference - The Insider's Guide to Passing State Legislation"; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig has conducted over three hundred twenty television, radio, and podcast interviews to help raise awareness of the need for children to have equal access to both of their biological parents; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig has actively worked on shared parenting legislation in twenty-nine states and personally met with over six hundred legislators across the country; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig has played an instrumental role in helping to pass equal shared parenting legislation in Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, Florida, and Missouri; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig has hosted over seventy shared parenting events including two events in Columbia; and

 

Whereas, Mark Ludwig is considered the premier national legislative leader of the Equal Shared Parenting Movement; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives extend their most hearty congratulations to Mark Ludwig at this proud moment of well-deserved distinction. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, honor Mark Ludwig for his substantial contributions to the development of equal shared parenting legislation across the Nation.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mark Ludwig.
