A JOINT RESOLUTION TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO NAME THE CONVERSE SCHOOL BUS MAINTENANCE SHOP IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY THE "DAVID T. BREWINGTON SCHOOL BUS MAINTENANCE CENTER", AND TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT TO INSTALL APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE CONTAINING THE WORDS "DAVID T. BREWINGTON SCHOOL BUS MAINTENANCE CENTER" AS THE DEPARTMENT CONSIDERS ADVISABLE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

"David T. Brewington School Bus Maintenance Center" named

SECTION 1. The South Carolina Department of Education is directed to name the Converse School Bus Maintenance Shop at 537 Burns Road in Spartanburg County the "David T. Brewington School Bus Maintenance Center". The department shall install appropriate signage containing the words "David T. Brewington School Bus Maintenance Center" as the department considers advisable.

Time effective

SECTION 2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Approved the 20th day of May, 2024.
