The Senate of Rhode Island has introduced a resolution expressing deep condolences on the passing of the Honorable Joseph Falvo, a respected member of the Johnston community. Mr. Falvo was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and had a distinguished career, working for United Wire & Supply for 31 years and later as a sales manager at J&K Electric for nearly 40 years. He served in the United States Army and held various public service roles, including Sealer of Weights and Measures and a 26-year tenure on the Johnston Town Council, where he was known for his integrity and dedication to his constituents.
In addition to his professional and public service achievements, Mr. Falvo was a man of deep faith, actively participating in Holy Cross Church as a communicant and lector. He had a passion for gardening, golfing, and handball, and cherished his family connections, particularly his annual visits to Niagara Falls. The resolution concludes by directing the Secretary of State to send certified copies of the resolution to Mr. Falvo's sons, Steven and Joseph, as a formal acknowledgment of his contributions and the loss felt by the community.
