The bill amends Section 3-7-19 of the General Laws in Chapter 3-7, which governs "Retail Licenses," by allowing the board of licenses of the town of South Kingstown to exempt a proposed retailer Class B or Class B-H liquor license intended to be located at 349 Main Street, Plat 56-3, Lot 48 of the applicable town of South Kingstown tax assessment map, from the existing proximity restrictions related to schools and places of worship. This exemption is contingent upon an application. The act takes effect immediately upon passage.
