This bill amends the existing law regarding the regional school district financial meeting for the towns of Foster and Glocester. The date of the financial meeting is changed from March 24, 1998, to March 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at the regional school building or another location designated by the regional school committee. Additionally, beginning in 2027, the regional school district financial meeting will be held annually on the third Tuesday in March. The bill clarifies that all voters qualified at the financial town meeting preceding the regional school district financial meeting will be eligible to attend and vote. The act will take effect immediately upon passage.
