The bill amends Section 3-7-19 of the General Laws in Chapter 3-7, "Retail Licenses," to allow for the issuance of a Class BV liquor license specifically for the property located at 819 Westminster Street in the city of Providence. It grants the board of licenses of the city of Providence the authority to exempt this proposed retailer Class C, Class B, or Class BV license from the existing proximity regulations concerning schools and places of worship. The act takes effect upon passage.
