Mr. Spirito, who was married to Florence Spirito, was known for his diverse talents as a musician, builder, barber, and educator. He dedicated his career to teaching math and served as the Department Chair at Western Hills Junior High School, where he instilled values of diligence and integrity in his students. Additionally, he was a committed public servant, holding multiple terms on the Cranston City Council and serving as Council President, always advocating for the best interests of his constituents.
Carlo Spirito was also actively involved in his community through his religious faith and participation in local events, such as the Madonna Della Civita procession. He enjoyed leisure activities like playing cards and golfing. He is survived by his wife, sons, granddaughter, and numerous family members and friends. The resolution concludes with the House expressing its deepest condolences to the Spirito family and authorizing the Secretary of State to send a certified copy of the resolution to them.
