The Rhode Island House of Representatives has passed a resolution expressing deep sympathy on the passing of Carol Lee Connell. Mrs. Connell was the beloved wife of the late William Thomas Connell and the devoted mother of William Connell, Esq., Nancy Rippel, and Michael Connell. Born in Providence and a graduate of Warren High School, she created a loving home in Riverside for over fifty-five years, where she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In her professional life, Mrs. Connell worked as a cashier at Almacs Supermarket and was actively involved in her community, serving as a PTA officer at St. Raphael Academy. A devoted member of St. Brendan Church, she found strength in her faith and participated in various social activities, including tennis and beach outings. The resolution honors her contributions and impact on her family and community, and it directs the Secretary of State to send certified copies of the resolution to her family.
