The bill amends Section 28-5-7 of the General Laws in Chapter 28-5, titled "Fair Employment Practices," to enhance protections against unlawful employment practices. The act prohibits an employer, employment agency, labor organization, or employee from directly or indirectly committing any act declared by this section to be an unlawful employment practice, or from aiding, abetting, inciting, compelling, or coercing the doing of any such act. It emphasizes that individuals may be held personally liable for such conduct, including individual employees of employers.

The act takes effect upon passage.
